Our Wolves participated in an enjoyable holiday sing along this morning, led by Ms. Scrimo at Kossmann and Mrs. Fessenden at Flocktown. We also celebrated collecting and delivering almost 600 lbs of groceries and essential needs for the LVCAP Food Pantry. Thank you to all who contributed.

REMINDER: District Schools will dismiss early Friday December 22 and Schools will be CLOSED Monday, December 25 to January 1, 2024 for Winter Break. Schools will reopen January 2, 2024.
FKS 5th graders fine tune their Mars Rover before tomorrow's final test of their design challenge!
We are so grateful for the contributions of our generous community to the success of the FKS Essential Needs and Food Drive! In all, our families donated close to 600 pounds of items to benefit the Long Valley Community Assistance Program Food Pantry, in the true spirit of the holiday season. Many thanks to our Second Grade team of teachers for planning and facilitating a successful Colonial Day! Many thanks also to our second grade parents, who packed the classrooms for student presentations on aspects of Colonial Life and participated in activities of Colonial-era children.

Congratulations 5th graders and Mrs. Fessenden on your beautiful performance this evening! The program featured songs in 5 languages, bringing us the spirit of the holiday and winter seasons. We are so proud of all of you!
Our 5th graders performed their Holiday Choral program for their second, third, and fourth grade peers this morning in a dress rehearsal before their performance this evening. They were terrific!

During the month of December, art work from each WTS elementary school is on display at the WT Free Public Library. Here are a few photos of FKS student pieces on display. When you are there, be sure to enjoy the creativity and skill of our students under the guidance of their teachers, Mrs. Hemberger and Mrs. Bruno.
Today's dress rehearsal was a success as our Theater Week performers held an assembly for their peers this afternoon. Second graders went up to Flocktown for the performance. Our thespian Wolves are ready for this evening's performance for families. Many thanks to the FKS PTA for providing this opportunity for our students and to the parent volunteers who made it all work this week.

The PTA Holiday Shop opened Monday and runs throughout the week. Many thanks to those who wrapped the gifts and those who will volunteer this week. We greatly appreciate your efforts to bring this exciting opportunity to our students!
With our new kiln at Flocktown, students are beginning to work on their first clay project of the school year. Many thanks to our PTA and Business Office for making this happen.
The best little Thanksgiving Day parade at FKS! Many thanks to our first grade team of teachers, our first grade students, and their families for giving us a parade before the holiday weekend. Our preschoolers also stopped by the office to sing their turkey song!
