We are looking to fill several Substitute School Bus Driver positions. This is a perfect job for a part-time school employee, semi-retired person, a college student, a parent, or someone needing a little extra cash – who can work mornings, afternoons or both. Training will be provided to the right person to obtain a CDL-B school bus driver's license. Training classes are held throughout the year.
The job is a non-contracted substitute position with the Washington Township Schools mainly driving students to/from school, with field and athletic trips available. If desired, the possibility exists to eventually move into a contracted driving position where benefits may be available.
If you, or someone that you know, is interested, please contact the transportation department for more information or apply through the employment section of our schools website, www.wtschools.org, and fill out the application for Substitute School Bus Driver.
LVMS students got to enjoy the StarLab from Raritan Valley Community College Science Education Institute. The StarLab is a portable planetarium that recreates the sky from any time or place on Earth. Thank you to Mr. Ferrante for organizing and setting up!
Congratulations to the LVMS Modern Dance Company for three successful performances this week!
To our LVMS Teachers: Have an idea not covered by your current budget that will take your curriculum to the next level? Apply for a PTA Teacher Grant. Applications are being accepted until March 24 and awarded in May. Visit lvmspta.org/teacher-grants to apply.
Don't forget! Tomorrow (3/21) is Crazy Sock Day in honor of World Down Syndrome Day. Wear your craziest or mismatched socks in order to celebrate our differences!
March is Youth Art Month! Mrs. Clark and Mr. Mita are proud to showcase some of our student's creative artwork at the Washington Township Public Library.
Don't forget to take our Portrait of a Panther Parent Survey! The survey closes on March 31st.
