Promotion Ceremony
When: Wednesday, June 14, 2023
Where: Long Valley Middle School: 51 West Mill Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853
(Behind school building on the large field)
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 PM (8th graders should arrive 5:15 PM and report to their lineup location)
Parking: LVMS Staff will be on site to assist with parking beginning at 5:00 PM. The campus will be closed prior to 5:00 PM. Please be aware we anticipate a large crowd to celebrate our 8th graders. It is encouraged to carpool when possible.
Tickets: Each student will receive two (2) tickets for the ceremony. Tickets will be distributed directly to students in school the week of Promotion. Tickets will ONLY be utilized in the event of an indoor promotion.
Seating: Families should bring their own seating to an outdoor Promotion Ceremony. Chairs will be provided for our 8th grade students; limited seating will be provided for other honorees or guests that may require assistance with seating. Please email mfrost@wtschools.org if you require any special accommodations or handicap accessible seating.
Dress Code for Students: “Classy Casual” attire; polo/button down shirts and khaki pants/shorts for the boys, appropriate length dresses or dress shorts for the girls. Temperatures may be warm so we recommend seasonally appropriate outfits. Students will have to walk on grass - please choose shoes suitable for that purpose.
