Dear FKS Family,
It was wonderful to see so many smiling happy faces and hear the laughter in the halls as old friends were reunited and new friendships were made.
Our staff made students feel welcomed and began their year long journey in a positive, uplifting way.
After a wonderful open house today, the FKS faculty are eagerly awaiting the arrival of students and looking forward to a great first day tomorrow!!!!

Also, all students and families are invited to our walk through on Wed, 8/28, 2:20-3:20pm.

Good Afternoon FKS Family!
I wanted to send a quick message to introduce myself and let you know I have officially started in my role as FKS Principal. I was hoping to open my door to meet families and staff but unfortunately until construction is complete and it is safe, we will have to wait. Keep your eyes out for communication from us over the next few weeks as we gear up and prepare for opening day for students on August 29th. My goal is to quickly gain your trust and showcase all the wonderful things our FKS staff do, and have in store for our students this year. I look forward to partnering with you and having a rewarding school year.

The projects of Summer 2024 are underway at FKS. We're getting new roofs! The offices will be open during these projects.
On Wednesday, we re-opened the Flocktown kickball field after it was renovated by FKS alum Liam Rafter for his Eagle Scout project. He even donated a brand new, official kickball! The project was months in the making coordinating with the town, school district, and baseball league followed by tens of hours of manual labor on the fence and the field. His goal of wanting this 5th grade class, which includes his sister, to be able to play on the field before the end of the school year was achieved. Thank you Liam for all of your hard work to bring this field back to life! We are so impressed by your efforts and so proud of you!

On the last day of school, we clapped out our 5th graders before they boarded the FKS buses for the last time. They started with one last walk through Kossmann and returned to Flocktown to be clapped out by third grade, fourth grade, and our faculty and staff. Such a bittersweet day. We are sad to see them go, but so excited for them as they continue their journey onto LVMS. Best wishes to our 5th graders and their families!

Our 2024 PTA Tricky Tray Principals for Half a Day. They jumped right in! FKS didn't miss a beat with them in charge.
Many thanks to the PTA and Carnival Committee for the perfect ending to a busy few weeks and the school year at the FKS PTA Spring Carnival. Thank you for bringing our community together for fun and games to celebrate the end of another rewarding school year. We are so grateful for all of the PTA's hard work and generosity. The result of their efforts is such an integral part of the FKS experience for our students and their families.
