At BAC, we are thankful for our bucketfillers, students who demonstrate our core values of responsibility, respect, safety, persistence, and kindness. This past Monday, we celebrated the "bucketfillers of the week" for the month of November with a party in the conference room.

Today, Monday, November 11th, we take time to honor Veterans Day and recognize the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces. Their dedication, courage, and sacrifices have helped protect the freedoms we enjoy today, and we are deeply grateful for their service. As we pause to reflect on this important day, let’s remember the deep commitment shown by our Veterans and the lasting impact of their service to our country.
Here are some photos from last week's visit from AVA Post 1776. We thank our local Veterans for joining us for our flag raising ceremony and everything they do for our school and community!

BAC kindergarten students in Mrs. MacMillan's class had a great time in writing class this week. They learned about labeling, matching seasonally-themed words to pictures. They were proud to show their work!

Third graders in Mrs. Frankosky's class had an exciting hands-on science lesson as they explored the power of magnetic fields. Using various types of magnets, the students conducted experiments to test how strong each magnet was by observing how many objects they could attract and lift. They experimented with different materials, such as paper clips, nails, and other small items, to see how magnets interact with various surfaces. The students were amazed to discover how distance, material, and size can affect a magnet's strength. It was a fun, interactive way to deepen their understanding of magnetism and how it works in the real world!

BAC 5th grade students in Ms. Sonzogni's class buddied up with 1st grade students in Mrs. Draghi's class. This was the first of several times these two classes will be collaborating this school year. Today was a fun day of interviewing and getting to know one another!
