WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION BOARD GOALS 2009-2010
1. The Board and Interim Superintendent, in collaboration with the WTEA, will conduct a review of the current teacher evaluation process with the purpose of developing a revised clinical supervision model for the District that supports full implementation of the differentiation of instruction and classroom use of technology that will be developed through the IDE professional development activities.
2. The Board and Interim Superintendent will conduct a thorough search for a new Superintendent of Schools that will include recruitment of outside candidates and a review of in-district professionals.
3. The Board and Interim Superintendent will implement an effective system of communication of student performance in order that parents will be able to follow their child’s performance on a daily basis.
4. The Board will monitor the IDE training and implementation to insure that year two differentiated instruction using technology as an enabler is completed.
