Back-To-School Events -
September 2: School Building Walk-Throughs for Parents and Students
Students and parents are invited to visit the school buildings on September 2, 2010 to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and to become familiar with the school before the first day of classes on September 7.
7:30 AM Welcome Back Breakfast for Staff provided by PTA Members
9:30 AM Kindergarten Orientation for students attending the AM sessions
10:15 AM Grades 1 through 5 visits
10:30 AM Kindergarten Orientation for students attending the PM sessions
September 7: First Day of School for All Students
September 9: Schools Closed for Rosh Hashanah
September 10: School Resumes
September 13: First Grade Orientation Lunch Provided by Food Services
PTA SUMMER POSTCARD PROGRAM -
The PTA would like to hear from all you 1st through 5th graders about your summer holidays. You can make your own postcard or buy them. Messages must be handwritten by the student with at least 1 complete sentence. Prizes will be awarded to each student for participation and one prize will be awarded in each grade for the most postcards sent by a student. Click here to download the flyer for more information. WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP LIBRARY SUMMER READING CLUB "Make A Splash -- Read"
June 22 through August 11 – Kids ages 2 through grade 5 can join throughout the summer. Sign up @ the library, keep track of your reading minutes, and earn a prize at every 250 minute mark. Daily drop-in craft available. If you do the Weekly Seaside Search, you have a chance at additional prizes! Click for more information.
